Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins (born in Mexico) is a Mexican American journalist. She works for ESPN and is a SportsCenter News Anchor. She joined ESPN in 2016. was a part of ESPN. She is the daughter of the TV journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta was bilingual since when she was nine years old. The ability which helped her obtain her first position as an Univision producer assistant Miami. There, she worked with the producers of National shows like Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. Her first job was as a reporter for CBS St. Petersburg. CBS St. Petersburg affiliate following that. In 2009, she moved from Texas in the Rio Grande Valley where she was a news reporter at KNVO TV 48 Univision. In 2009, she relocated to Rio Grande Valley in Texas, where she became an editor for KNVO48 Univision as well as Fox2 News. Anchor duties for weather or sports were often demanded. Deportes 23 is Univision Dallasthe affiliate of Univision Dallas, and she has more responsibility. She wrote to the NBA, Dallas Cowboys' postseason games, NBA ALDS ALCS World Series or Finals FC Dallas. Aside from this she was also the host and produced Univision 23's Accion Deportiva Extra local sports show. She was appointed as the anchor of the sports program by Despierta America Deportes for their morning show. In addition, she served as an anchor on sports for Primer Impacto, a magazine show on the UniMas Network and Contacto Deportivo. Antonietta Collins was a native of the city of Veracruz, Mexico. She was born November 22 the 22nd of November, 1984 in Mexico City. She is younger than her sister. In 1992 the family left Mexico to the US and settled in Miami. The couple divorced within a short time and in 1995, she married a naval architect named Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo died in 2006 of kidney cancer. The summer of the year 2006, Antonietta took a week with her sister in Canton Ohio. The older Collins girl was employed there. Antonietta was the senior of her high school however, she was very aware of her goals for the future. She visited Mount Union University to find out if the school was suitable for her. The campus was stunning and offered the degree she wanted. Her studies were completed and she was admitted to the university as a major in media studies. Mark Bergmann, her professor who was also the manager of the WRMU's 91.1FM station for which she worked for a number of years, was a friend. Mark Bergmann inspired her to be self-confident and his enthusiasm for journalism deeply influenced her. She determined to live up to his expectations and never fail him.
